When the warm weather hits, you gladly need to change your skin care routine…

I have kept it minimal and stuck only to essentials this summers…

✔Here are my 7 Super – Essentials this summer … Stepping out without them is a big No-no for me.


? Cleansers -First of all , If you spend a lot of time outside, you should need a good cleanser and an scrub – since dead skin mixed with sweat and sebum is a recipe for clogged pores—just stick to once or twice a week and use a gentle scrub with smooth particles.
And use a good cleanser that suits your skin and is mild on your skin atleast twice a day.

Applying a small amount of toner to a soft cotton ball or pad and gently blotting and wiping your face with it will remove oil and give the appearance of smaller pores , also maintain ur Skin’s PH balance and refresh your skin. .

?Sunscreen-One application is not enough..Re-apply every two hours.
You can choose oil-free, mattifying formulas, extra emollient formulas for dry skin, or chemical free formulas for sensitized, reactive skin.
Tip: Stay out of the midday sun from mid-morning to late afternoon whenever you can.

Summer skin care

Did you know, Perfume is just aromatic molecules in a neutral medium.

Once it’s on your skin, it begins to evaporate and as the molecules leave your skin and hit the air, voila! You smell.

Again minimal approach for day wear is the best option -Powders and gels tend to hold up better in warmer, sweatier climates. Your BB creams may not

Summer makeup
Just dab a bit of white powder / compac powder , a tinge of blush and a light gloss is a perfect combination for me this summers.

You can keep all ur foundations, kohls , red lips and all that jazz for the evening/ party look when you want to look million dollars worth making heads turn your way…?

Other than this , please keep yourself hydrated and drink lots of water…Add some low calorie flavoring to water such as a piece of fruit, or opt for healthy alternatives like green tea or coconut water.Personally coconut water is my favourite drink in summers.

Avoid colas, carbonated drinks and alcohol.

  1. I usually go for a no makeup look with a tinge of blush and just eyeliner and lipstick to finish the look. And instead of sunscreen I go for Aloe Gel that acts as sunscreen. Applying Rose water twice a day also helps a lot.
