Inspirational Ideas for Positive thinking.

I chose to talk about self-care and positive thinking today, in a world full of chaos where everyone is living a busy life and mental health is always on the backburner.

It’s important to prioritise your physical and mental health as without them do not have the ability to care for yourself or your loved ones.

“As long as you feel pain, you’re still alive. As long as you make mistakes, you’re still human. And as long as you keep trying, there’ still hope.” – Susan Gale

Is it possible to change your life just by changing your thoughts?

Does positive thinking really make you happy?

The answer is Yes.

What you think you become.

Submit all invest more into taking care of ourselves so that we feel happier and get a chance to reset anxiety and stress levels to boost your productivity levels and most importantly so that our lives can change for better.

Most of the times, when we allow negativity to dominate our thoughts for a long time we are only attracting more of the same and most of us fail to realise that.

Really profound, right?

Inspiration for positive thinking

Here are a few basic pointers that will help you think more positively in life.

Always remember nothing drains your energy more like negative thinking, it keeps you at bay from living the present moment .

The more you give in to those negative thoughts they keep on getting stronger and stronger.

Basically we need to fight the root cause of negative thinking and there few simple things that can be done to overcome those persistent negative thoughts.

Meditation/yoga:

Meditation can be very relaxing and helps ease your mind.

Simple yoga or meditation exercises like breathing exercises or basic yoga moves can help destress and helps one focus on better things that require your attention and also it helps you improve concentration.

Change your thoughts:

Try to train your mind to think positively under all circumstances.

The way we choose to interpret our world directly influence our belief.

And our actions are influenced by our thoughts.

Read self help books or positive quotes if you need to .

Focus on daily affirmations from time to time and try to bring positivity to your life that will help lift your spirits when you’re down.

Quotes

Make a gratitude journal:

Writing down about all your daily blessings even the smallest one which we take for granted to all the pent-up emotions and anger built up over a period of time can actually be very therapeutic.

Don’t dwell on past mistakes/ experiences:

You might have been hit by a string of unfortunate circumstances but it is always your attitude that is under your control. When we control our thoughts and attitude a body responds and performs accordingly.

“ The choice of attitude is yours.

Tomorrow you will become what you choose today.”

Lower your expectations:

Here are a few quotes by my all time favourite author and motivational speaker from USA- Yasmin Mogahed.

If there is one recipe for unhappiness it is that: expectations.

When you have friends, don’t expect your friends to fill your emptiness. When you get married, don’t expect your spouse to fulfill your every need. When you’re an activist, don’t put your hope in the results. When you’re in trouble don’t depend on yourself. Don’t depend on people. Depend on Allah.

  7. Honestly I know many people who all have money property but the thing this is missing is peace. Our soul searches the peace and that makes us happy from inside. Life is not about running behind money it’s about celebration of every single moment. I also have some bad feeling about life but I suppress these with positive thinking. I spend time with myself. I feel so grateful to God because I’m blessed with a beautiful life.
