There is never really a right age to start taking care of your skin and your health but when you have reached your late 20’s you know this is one topic you just cannot afford to ignore.Not all of us have been blessed with genetically beautiful clear looking skin. Most of you ladies must be suffering from hormonal issues , pimples or any other skin disorders.Following unhealthy eating habits or incorrect lifestyle habits could also be one of the major reasons for unclear and unhealthy skin.

Let’s look at four most common underlying reasons why your skin, probably, isn’t that clear.

1. Blindly following the ads/ influencers/ actresses:

It is so important to know your correct skin type without which no matter how many products you invest in you will never get the desired results so it’s very important to know your exact skin type and invest in products accordingly and not blindly follow what you see on social media or television.

Just because your favourite actress endorses a certain product it may not be the perfect suit for your skin type but it may do more harm than good for your skin in the long run.

So be very careful and be keen to learn your skin type and choose the correct products product accordingly.

Consulting your dermatologist for the same would be suitable if you’re unable to make the correct choices.

2. Sticking to a fixed routine:

Once you know your skin type it is very important for you to come up with the skincare routine .

Not only come up with a correct routine but adhering to it as much as possible and maintaining it in the long run is the key for clear skin.

Wearing make up for long hours definitely clogs the pores of your skin.

This is something we all are aware off so no matter how late it is or how tired you are keeping simple make up removal wipes on your bedside.

Cleansing your make-up on daily basis at night before hitting the bed is the best solution to allowing your skin breathe.

Sleeping with make-up on can lead to breakouts and early aging in the long run.

Sleeping with make-up on is a complete no-no.

4. Lifestyle changes:

It is very important to incorporate some kind of daily exercises in your routine which will help proper blood flow which is extremely essential for a healthy glow and clear skin.

Also smoking and drinking can be extremely injurious as it to please the body of vitamin C .

Skin’s elasticity is broken down specially through smoking which is the major cause of unhealthy skin.

Drinking plenty of water detox water will help you keep your skin hydrated as when the body is deficient in water the organs becomes dehydrated too and so does the skin resulting in fine lines change in overall skin colour and skin dryness.

We all the mistakes and then we learn from it same goes for skin care routine after couple of trial and errors I’m sure we all know what our biggest skin concerns are and which products will help us deal with it.

  1. I agree with all the tips. Blindly following ads may bring breakouts to skin. Skincare routine shouldn’t change often. If we want to try new products, we shouldn’t do it all at the same time. Go slow and introduce 1 new item/ingredient to the routine at a time and when skin gets usèd to it, we can add 2nd ingredient. Plus with actives, certain ingredients should not be used together. We should make sure to be kind and gentle towards skin.
